All of our pieces are hand-made to order, and are processed in the order from which they are received. When your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail with the tracking number to keep an eye on the status of your package as it makes its way to you. If you have not received this email, please contact us to request an update.
Once your package leaves the Belle Volonté studios, it becomes property of Canada Post and we no longer have control over the package. We are unable to refund or replace stolen packages or unretrieved packages that have been confirmed as delivered or have been lost in transit. Please ensure your delivery address is correct and secure. If you want to change the delivery address once your order has been placed, please contact us immediately. Once your order has been dispatched, we will not be able to modify your shipping information for that specific order.
If your order is a gift and needs to be delivered by a certain date we will do our best to accommodate your request—please include your instructions in the order notes or in an email to email@example.com.
While we will always do our best to ensure that your order is delivered to you on time, please bear with us as certain conditions such as service interruptions, weather delays, international customs, public holidays are beyond our control.
All domestic orders are shipped first class via USPS with delivery confirmation tracking and insurance. International orders are shipped USPS first class. For shipping upgrades please contact via email prior to purchase and wait for confirmation of a revised invoice.
Belle Volonté ships worldwide and offers international insured shipping through Canada Post and USPS.
Standard International Shipping is FREE for orders $200 and above. For orders below that, rates can be calculated at checkout and can vary depending on the address and rate chosen.
Shipping time for each rate are the following,
- Tracked Packet USA: 4–7 business days
- Xpresspost USA: 2–3 business days
- Tracked Packet International: 6–10 business days
- Xpresspost International: 4–7 business days
Taxes & Duties
If you live outside of Canada, local customs or import duties may be charged when your parcel reaches your country. The customer is responsible for payment of any extra duties or taxes imposed by the destination country for delivery. Although your order will be shipped in a timely manner, we can not guarantee how long it will take for your item to arrive due to customs. Customs can be unpredictable and may hold on to a package for as long as eight weeks. For delays this long in shipping, please contact your local customs office.
